This site is to inform you on the modern and
not so modern opinions of the music you hear everyday on the radio on your
way to school, work, or anywhere else you may be headed day to day.

Mainstream
music has been a coffee table discussion among people for the past 50 years.
No one really ever put right out there what they thought about everything
they heard. Every once in a while they would say, "Oh, well, that
song's all right, or I guess that's okay," but change the subject.
On this site, the only holds barred are explicit content, but blame that
on Tipper Gore, not me. The screaming, antic modern "rock," has a
pretty boy rhyme and rhythm that real rock and roll never had, and shouldn't
have anyway. Rap has gone from a random rhythm, to tightly wound
lyrics, tunes, and beats. For the better or not is beyond me, but
perhaps it is for the better in some cases. Pop has come and gone
with a very rapid and forgetful wind about
it, that caused it to disappear quickly. R&B went from soulful
Barry White (RIP) and Luther Vandross, to Mariah Carey and her ridiculous
antics with her high voice and hussy lyrics after her divorce. The
guitar solos went into the gutter, the scratching is up to the live DJ
now, and all the soulful vibrato is unheard as the voices are as high as
a dog whistle. This site isn't here solely to diss modern music,
but to give a better idea to you poor people about real music, and my opinion
versus others.
